From Language Inquiry to Civic Fieldwork
Rooted in linguistic analysis and intercultural communication at Vietnam National University, my work transitioned from managing public diplomacy at the U.S. Embassy American Center to grassroots civic engagement through the YSEALI Fellowship at Arizona State University.
Today at American Study, I structure rigorous tri-sector research alliances that link high school scholars with university science faculties and northern provincial commune committees to produce accountable community development.
Collaborative Institutional Networks
Sustainable development demands systemic integration between foreign diplomatic missions, local civil servants, and university researchers.
Public Diplomacy Alliances
Commune People's Committees
University Research Faculties
Partnering with U.S. Embassy Hanoi, the U.S. Department of State, and Arizona State University on regional ASEAN civic initiatives and youth leadership frameworks.
Co-designing rural interventions directly alongside municipal councils and Youth Unions across Phú Thọ, Bắc Kạn, and Mai Châu to address regional needs.
Supervising student scientific contracts with university laboratories in applied mathematics, biochemistry, and sociology to ensure empirical rigor.
Fellowship committees and research directors can examine detailed field expedition data, student publications, and diplomatic program archives.
